In this Episode, I will tell you the number one mistake I see women making when they are washing their hands - and why you need to change WHAT you are using to prevent the dreaded "old lady" hands. I'm not into "anti aging"- I think aging is a privilege - BUT you need to be making sure that you are keeping your hands as soft and smooth as you can - and I bet you're using the wrong things!
I'll share with you what I use to keep my hands as soft as possible, and why it's better than most "skin softening" hand washes on the market.
I will also debunk common myths around washing your hands and killing germs. (We don't need to torture our hands to keep them clean and germ free!)
These super simple first steps will go a long way in getting your hands a lot softer and less rough looking- for less money.

I’ll explain what hyaluronic acid is, its benefits for maintaining moisture and promoting a healthy skin barrier, and how our body's natural production decreases with age.
I will also provide essential tips on using hyaluronic acid correctly to avoid common mistakes, particularly the importance of sealing it with a moisturizer to prevent transepidermal water loss. (TEWL.)
I also challenge the notion of hyaluronic acid being a skincare necessity! I think of it instead as a 'nice to have' rather than a ‘need’ to have, and I will suggest alternatives for hydrating the skin.

In this episode of the Beauty Advice Made Simple podcast, I discuss the advantages of using micellar water as an alternative to makeup wipes. I’ll remind you WHY makeup wipes can be harmful to the skin (due to their rough texture, excessive exfoliation potential, and unwanted preservatives) and why Micellar Water is a MUCH better alternative in every way!
I’ll explain how micellar water is an effective option for removing makeup, SPF, and dirt from the skin without irritating it. I’ll tell you exactly what it is, about its origins in France, and how it can be incorporated into a skincare routine as a first step before a regular facial wash. I love micellar water for its simplicity and convenience and how it can make any skincare routine easier and more efficient.
I’ll also tell you that while micellar water is great, it’s not a “one-and-done” cleansing solution and why it’s still important to choose a quality, dedicated facial cleanser. I’ll also tell you about my two favorite brands, for those interested in trying a superior formula micellar water out of the gate.
